Poor Start to Year 2

Today was a full day. 7 hours of training to be a GA, followed by a reception with the Deans to welcome us 2nd years back to campus and get us into the swing of full-time recruiting, followed by a company presentation.

Yours truly didn't make it to any of the above. I managed to catch a really nasty bug yesterday and spent last night either emptying the contents of my stomach until there was nothing left or passed out in bed trying to sleep off the exhaustion. I'm hoping that I can make it to school tomorrow, I feel like I'm missing out on the excitement of being back on campus and reconnecting with everyone.

The rest of the week can only get better from here.

hey kiddo. sorry to hear you're sick. you're right that it was "exciting" in that there was a lot of "ohmygodhowwasyoursummmer????????". but there will be time to plug into the madness. you're not missing anything. as for being sick - eat any spinach lately? i know, paranoid, right. still, i'm avoiding bagged anything for awhile just in case.

tdc - ha. no spinach. today is a little better. i'm past the upchuck stage and squarely in the achy and sore throat stage. along with the ever-present wallow in my misery and whine stage, of course.

my new mantra: yay for no vomit! how is your recruiting going? enjoying being thrown back into 'the circles' again?

glad to hear the first stage is over. because, seriously, no fun.

re: recruiting. eh .... you know me. it's like "i'm going to be hardcore .... ah, whatever". it's not so bad. the need for a job is still there, but the need to be frantic about it, not so much.
